Thumpertown is Cape Cod’s Thumpin’-Good Rock & Roll cover band. Thumpertown’s original members, Doug Stetson (guitar, vocals), Rick Buckley (guitar, vocals, harmonica), and Dave Dickie (drums, vocals) have played together since 2021. In 2023, Thumpertown was formed, and the three were joined by Rob “Strong T” Teplansky (bass, keyboards, vocals) later that year.
The band launched the 2024 season with a packed house and rockin’ gig at the Lost Dog Pub in Orleans, MA on April 6, 2024. Featured songs currently include classics like, Born On The Bayou, Maggie May, Up On Cripple Creek, Funk #49, Alison, Call Me The Breeze, Money For Nothin’, Lawyers, Guns And Money, Pinball Wizard, You Wreck Me, I’ve Got A Feeling, Use Me, Heard It Through The Grapevine, Dirty Water, and many, many more.
